Nevada’s largest collection of wild animals from around the world is on permanent exhibit in the Wanamaker wing of the Northeastern Nevada Museum, located in historic Elko, NV. There you will find more than 180 animals exhibited in their natural settings, as well as animal mounts and historic hunting gear.
The app, featuring colorful icons of the exotic animals on display, enables museum patrons to take self-guided walking tours through the extensive exhibit in six different galleries encompassing more than 20,000 square feet. By clicking on the icons, visitors can access educational and fun information about each animal, from its place of origin and eating habits to scientific classification and natural predators.
